1. short stop at bar 4 for scalp, filled at low tick
2. short stop at bar 9 below the low of bar 5, 3 points to 1179.25
3. limit buy at bar 16 at 1177 for 2 points
4. buy stop at bar 44 for 2 points, didn't expect it run all the way.
5. should have shorted stop at bar 47, no.
6. small position to buy at the close of bar 56, expected for breakout; but bar 68 just couldn't do better, scalp out.

short at close of bar 46 is OK;
limit buy at ema at bar 48 is also OK.

that's 2 high probability scalps I missed today.

while I'm looking at the chart now I'm thinking the following might be a good trade: The reversal from bar 43 to 46 is very strong, so it's high should be tested again. Buy at the EMA and hold until either high of 46 is tested or a bar closed below EMA.

it's basically spike and channel. But this channel is too weak.

actually, the game plan from 2pm is, limit buy at ema for scalp, you can get 4-5 points by playing this. I only figure out after it's over. LOL

I figured it out earlier by looking at both the 30min and 5min chart. It's very clear on the 30min it's a small flag/ascending diagonal. But I dared not to do it and stopped out in bar 71. I was too greedy. Changed the limit sell order from 118.5 SPY to 118.9 and hope the bull will test the day high, or at least a scalp. TMD.

It's also interesting to watch the eur/usd at the same time. A lot of correlated move.

hmm, probably not. But short close of bar 30 should be OK; anyway I wasn't online during this period.

bar 74 is a very strong bar and break out, which have been tested 3 times, I get trapped at bar 75, how to avoid it ?
