How to select index mutul fund in Fidelity Brokagelink Account?

Just setup the account but found there is no ETF available. It only provides mutul funds (over 4000). Totally lost. Anyone who has experience please comment. Thank you very much!

In Fidelity , you can not only trade ETFs, but also you can  trade 25 ETF's for free.

As to fidelity index mutual fund, my suggestion is "don't buy unless you have large amount of capital. " since its minimum purchase is $10000.

Another warning, if you are purchasing other family mutual funds through Fidelity, such as T Row Price, you might be asking for trouble, since if you want to sell them before 6 month holding period, you need to pay $75/trade.

I am not going to tell you everything, you need research very carefully before committing a lot of money.

Fidelity is the best place for mutual fund investing for me, but you need to know its limitation.

Thanks Ranchgirl. Since this brokage link account is associated with my 401K account. there is no ETF available for trading but mutul funds. I only want to buy mutul funds that images SPY or QQQQ etc. Any suggestions on such mutul funds is appreciated.
