Ipad will be the undoing of Apple

After looking at the picture and video of ipad my conclusion: this device will be the start of undoing of Apple. I just can't image many people feel it's COOL to drag round a bulk and unpractical device like this, and COOL is the real thing the Apple is selling.  Unfortunately things considered cool are typically short lived, and could be easily undone by very trivial thing. Apple really need be very careful with this, once people is associate "uncool" with Apple, it will be very hard to reverse that.

problem  is the battary,

big screen, big battary, can not fix this even it using OLED screen

the shit looks fragile. it does not like notebook which can be folded so that the sreen is protected. looks like you need a seperate hard box for it.

ipad is a kindle killer.. go to check the price tag of kindle 2, the same size as ipad.

kindle is black/white/gray, ipad can play color video/slides...

For limitations such as small storage (16-64G) and lacking of camera, etc, these will be addressed in the next generation ipad.

u guys serious wrong, kindle E-ink technology isnt a shitty OLED screen.

for one thing as sample, e-ink is adapting the real lighting from your surrounding, OLED eluminated itself. e-ink has no trouble reading for hours, how long can u read from a paper posting on a window directly behind the sun? left along much long lasting battery life.

color e-ink is coming out this summer, might not be kindle, but will be out.
