this dubai news just like last year with lehman, when rumor comes out "officials" claim everything will be fine and well until one day morning everything is different.
lesson learned last year: 宁可信其有， 不可信其无。Dubai is cash striped. I don't think anyone will help here. 6month of standstill means nothing. they will default for sure. Banks will face more write downs, this is on international level new accounting rule will not do the trick this time. this is too ironic. when US government is so committed to not let any financial institutions fail, something bigger come along.
