今年1月5日兆彩(Mega Millions)头奖被20岁的美国佛州青年一注独得后，至今无人再夺大奖。 截至30日，头奖已攀升至5.21亿美元，为历史上第四次头奖超过5亿美元，也是美国彩票历史上第十高奖金，巨额奖金点燃华人小区购买奖券的热潮，许多华人希望花两美元买一个大梦想。

位于布碌仑班森贺一家杂货店内30日迎来大批购买奖券的顾客，店员杰曼(Jimmy Jaman)说，从早上营业到下午5时，百余人前往购买，比平日销售量增加20%以上。 多数民众都是购买十美元左右奖券，并没有人花百美元购买，而多数民众都选择计算机选号。

位于7大道的富兴平价超市的老板江Tng表示，有许多新移民或老移民希望用两美元钱买一个希望。 他指出，自家店营业数年，期间看到不少华裔顾客因一个号码未中，而错过大奖的遗憾场景，并劝民众保持平常心购买。

刚来美国一年的新移民何Jenny和丈夫在微信中看到兆彩飙升到5亿美元的消息，冒雨购买彩券。 30日她通过计算机自选购得五注，盼望可以中大奖。 在布碌仑华埠居住了30多年的居民何伟添为朋友和自己共购买六注，他说自己没希望中奖，只是凑热闹买一个期望。

中奖者可选在29年分期获得5.21亿美元(税前)的奖金，或选择获得3.02亿美元的现金奖，再支付州税和联邦税。

劲球奖曾在2016年开出15亿8600万美元最高金额头彩，六年前兆彩头奖曾最高曾累积至6.56亿美元。 兆彩奖在全美44个州、哥伦比亚特区(District of Columbia)和美属维京群岛(U.S.Virgin Islands)售卖，每注需两美元。

New Jersey Sells Only Winning Ticket for $521 Million Mega Millions Jackpot

Trenton – New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director John M. White announced this morning that the only Mega Millions jackpot winning ticket from last night’s drawing was sold in New Jersey. “We are thrilled that the winning ticket was sold in Morris County. I’m happy to congratulate Riverdale Lukoil South of 105 Route 23 South in Riverdale, the retailer that sold this winning ticket,” said White.

The winning numbers for the March 30, 2018 drawing are: 11, 28, 31, 46, and 59. The Gold Mega Ball is 1 and the Megaplier is 3. After rolling over 24 times before being won last night, the jackpot reached an amazing $521,000,000 annuity value. New Jersey also sold two $10,000 winning tickets, so players are urged to check their tickets.

“Congratulations, too, to the winner of this multi-million dollar jackpot! We encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place, and contact Lottery Headquarters at 609-599-5875 to arrange to file a claim for this “MEGA” jackpot prize,” White continued.

The winner has one year from the date of the drawing to file a claim. The jackpot winner will receive an estimated prize of $521 million annuity ($317.2 million cash). This $521 million jackpot is the fourth largest in the history of the game and the tenth largest in U.S. lottery history.

The Mega Millions jackpot resets to $40,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Tuesday, April 3 at 10:59 pm. All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 pm to participate in the drawing. Mega Millions tickets cost just two dollars; by adding the Megaplier option for an extra dollar per play, players can increase their non-jackpot winnings up to five times. Mega Millions tickets are sold in 46 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
