what's behind the recent move?

This is to seek the reason/logic other than technical analysis, I'm little confused now by frequent up/down fluctuate these days, welcome everyone join to discuss, this won't bother your trading (after mkt close), no time sensitive/hurry, you don't need reveal your trades/positions, it's not MQP even, so feel free to comment.
My thought is MMs start volatility to make money (as per news hedge funds not performed well so far this year), shake out small bulls before final destination, but if it's so short (if V back up), it won't realise the goal, to me either height deep enough (~5%+) or time long enough (two weeks or more), so far none of these been reached yet, although it's not finish yet.

I think psychology, too many people are looking at the bearish side recently. we been in this band for almost two month. Both bull and bear are looking for a correction for a short term. when we broke down last Friday, Bear say yes we are finally here, add more short. Bull say, oh crab, let me get out first. So every one are looking at 2100 level. But market is not going to go where every one can make money. My guess is that we might at lest close Tuesday's gap, may be even last Friday's gap, before going down to 2100.

If we are going to 2180 bear is very painful, bull if also painful on losing the position out. cause no body is prepare for such a shallow correction. If you just break up the all time high with whatever news? Every one is going to panic.

Another scenario is this is going to go down further than 2100. But before we get there, we have to shake off lots bear, how I do not know. Monday Bull bar and today's bull bar is painful to bear already. But I do not know whether this is enough.

2100 is not deep enough to me, if they can't break it down later, it may need hang here longer unless it V back up right away.
