According to a Columbia Police Department incident report, Marvin sent sexually explicit text messages and an obscene photo to the 15-year-old victim on a cell phone he had provided to her. The victim also told police of one incident of "intimate contact" between the two.

Marvin is also charged with producing, promoting, or directing a sexual performance by a child under 18, and voyeurism.
