Upstart delivered good numbers, but not great enough relative to the very high bar and future growth expectations.
While growth was strong, the revenue number came in a little under what some analysts expected ($277 M reported vs. ~ $285 M+ expected per one article).
A large growth rate is good, but investors focus more on beating estimates — when that doesn’t happen, it stings.
