In 2008, my friend's wife bought 10k FNM at $12, and hold until dropped to below $5, then pass her account to my friend.
Later, my friend started to accumulate FNM and FRE, price between $0.25~0.9, finally he got over 400k of them.
He did not sell when FNM first reaching $2.75, and was crazy happy to be a millionaire and wished FNM can be over $10.
But his dream did not last very long. In couple of months, FNM dropped to 25cent again, he was so regret not selling them.
Later, he sold them all between $1.4~1.6 in 2009. Anyway, he still made good money. |
