Had a meeting until 12pm (CA Time), so couldn't do my trading from 2 to 3pm.

The morning pushup was strong, but I saw a head-and-shoulder set up around the noon time. See the 1m chart below

Also, the $NYADV had been declining since 12pm, proceeding the change of tide.

Finally, you can see a lower high on the 1m as well.

I would have shorted at 2:04pm at 1401.5 with -1 pr and +1 sl. Note the pattern was small. The full target would be only -1.5pt.

It seems the next lower high at 2:50pm would be also shortable, but I don't see any set up for that.

The setup for 2:50pm bar is a bear flag breakout, also failed trendline retest.

yes, I don't want to be stopped by small spikes. This is just a initial stop. I should adjust it but always forget to do so.
What a reasonable stop should be for scalping?

才明白object是反对的意思, 西安, for scalping, what should be a reasonable stop loss points? So many time I was just stopped out by those small spikes.

If you don't want one loss to eat up lots of profit, you may want to use stop loss = profit, i.e. both 1pt. Or as Xi'An does, he would use market to close a trade if it doesn't move in a few minutes.
