3. limit buy at bar 19 at low of bar 18, stop out at below of the low of bar 17, overlooked the 5 tick failure at H2.
4. buy stop at bar 29 for scalp
5. buy stop at bar 58 for scalp
6. buy stop at bar 67 for scalp. best entry for the day, should have held some for MM target.
1. bar 2 was a doji, was it too much risk to buy stop at bar 3?
2. Should buy stop at bar 28 instead of 29? It's a high 2 and end a two legged down.
3. Why did you waited to bar 67 rather than buy stop at bar 64? Waiting for a higher low? I thought the up from bar 58 to 61 is strong so the high 1 should be buyable...

for buy stop, signal bar high is 1175, you are in at 1175.25, in order to scalp, you need market go to 1176.5, that's 6 ticks from 1175.
5 tick failure is you don't get a scalp.
1. that's morning scalp play. Actually you can buy above the high of bar 1.
2. yes. bar 28 is reasonable also. if so, the signal bar is bear bar. That's the only difference.
3. that was tough. bar 64 is right at the top of range, the singal bar looks pretty bad. bar 66 has much better looking.
but you are right. The advance from 58-61 is OK, 4 bull bars.

no, my scalp is 1 point, 4 ticks.
5 tick failure is counted from the high(low) of the signal bar.
take bull stop buy order as example, signal bar high is 1120, your entry is 1120.25, scalp target is 1121.25, plus bid/ask spread 1 tick, you need 1121.5. from 1121.5 to 1120 is 6 ticks, 5 tick failure means you fail to get a scalp.
The best day trades I have ever seen! Great thx for sharing that. By the way, how do you select the signal bars? and how do you have to do with a failed trade?
