Racegoers celebrate winning bets during a three-day meeting at Aintree Racecourse, where more than 150,000 spectators gathered to watch races including the world-famous Grand National. This year marked the return of spectators to the popular steeplechase for the first time in three years, after the annual event was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid, resuming last year behind closed doors.
