一寸河山一寸血” 拍攝於一九九七年，距蘆溝橋事件的發生正好是整整六十個年頭，該片的名稱出自當年國民政府鼓勵青年從軍之語： “一寸河山一寸血，十萬青年十萬軍”。

該片從國軍的角度描寫了艱苦卓絕的抗日戰爭，影片大量採用真實的歷史鏡頭，當年參戰的抗日將士的採訪回憶，有一個當年的普通士兵說：“我們沒有坦克也沒有火炮，全憑敢死隊把炸藥包綁在身上炸鬼子的坦克，一個人的犧牲換他一架（口誤）”

另一個說，“白天打仗我們不怕，就怕天黑聽受傷的弟兄喊‘排長，連長’；可是他們在陣地的中央，誰也無法把他們救回來”

一個當年的國軍軍官說，“我們武器太落後，機槍一個連只有3挺還常卡殼。全憑一股氣和鬼子拚。”。。。。。。

影片真實感人，不愧式愛國主義教育的好作品。
