川普上推特骂叶兹 白宫91分钟后开除她

川普火速开除欧巴马政府留下来的代理司法部长莎莉‧叶兹，再度引起外界瞩目，在发布人事之前，他已上推特泄愤一番，大骂后隔一个多小时，白宫就发布开除叶兹的人事命令。


川普是在美国卅日晚上七点四十五分上推特发文，指民主党人士拿政治上的理由拖延他的内阁施政，他们没所作为，只会是障碍，现在又多了一个叶兹。

川普推文后九十一分钟，即当晚九点十六分，白宫就发表声明开除叶兹，语气也极罕见，开头用「BETRAY」（背叛）指责叶兹，这在过去的白宫人事发布中几乎未见。

欧巴马政府留下来的代理司法部长莎莉‧叶兹，30日下令司法部律师不要为川普下达的禁令辩护，宣称她怀疑总统这项行政命令合乎法律和道德；白宫在当晚随即开除她，改以维吉尼亚东区检察官波恩特(Dana Boente)接替代理，直至新任司法部长塞辛斯接任。
白宫是以叶兹背叛司法部，拒绝执行旨在保护美国人民的法律命令为由，宣布解除其职务。

叶兹触怒白宫是因为在此之前曾发布备忘录说：「我的职责是确保司法部的地位不仅在法律上站得住脚，而且在考虑所有事实后掌握我们对法律的最佳观点。 」

她说：「目前我不相信为这项行政命令辩论符合这些职责，也不相信这项行政命令合法。 因此，只要我担任代理司法部长，司法部就不会为这项行政命令提供辩护，除非我相信这样做是适当的。 」

叶兹的指示表示美国政府不会指派代表，为川普的命令引起的官司和其他法律抗诘辩护。 不过，这大致是象征性的动作，因为川普任命的司法部长塞辛斯可望很快通过参院认可，而叶兹的做法显示她预期自己会被川普革职。

Statement on the Appointment of Dana Boente as Acting Attorney General

The acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States. This order was approved as to form and legality by the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel.

Ms. Yates is an Obama Administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration.

It is time to get serious about protecting our country. Calling for tougher vetting for individuals travelling from seven dangerous places is not extreme. It is reasonable and necessary to protect our country.

Tonight, President Trump relieved Ms. Yates of her duties and subsequently named Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to serve as Acting Attorney General until Senator Jeff Sessions is finally confirmed by the Senate, where he is being wrongly held up by Democrat senators for strictly political reasons.

“I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Senator Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected,” said Dana Boente, Acting Attorney General.
