I'm new to future. Just found that it's order not like option -- buy to open / sell to close; or Sell to open / buy to close for position. Hence use different term contract to keep your primary lot. Use recent drop from Nov 3/4 as example, you caught the ES 2109 perfect sell point, then should keep H6 sell lot untouched until you think the drop is done, which is 2000 when you put full size to long ES, during the drop, use 1H chart you could see 5 bounce up move with ES > 10 points, with your DT skill, execute long ES for these 5 counter trend move. May need to call TD confirm margin requirement for such case.
Please bear in mind this is not my hands-on experience but rather I learned from book. That trader start move down his StopLoss from initial to break even, then to each 1H wave local top sequentially follow the down trend until close the position. |
