I have only 1/4 long position for testing ES 1400, i.e. the SPX C&H target, ~1403 to 1405

Well, it didn't break out ... let's wait for tonight and tomorrow ...

Also I got out at 1397 ... getting impatient ... will come back when it dips to the previous low ...

If you look at the numbers for ADV and DEC in the chart, the ratio of the two numbers is between 1/2 to 2 ... that's what I meant ~ 1.

This indicates that today's no. of up stocks and no. of down stocks are about the same. Since indices are just an a collective indicators of these stocks, the indices can't have a strong (up/down) movement in this situation.

So chasing high or low is not as good as buy low/sell high. Nevertheless, we did have a successful breakout, but it was followed by a deep pullback, which would be rare is UP >3*DOWN ...

Also, since UP > DOWN, so buy low as long is safer than sell high as short ...
