今天逛商店, 人那个叫多啊! 好不容易远远的找了个趴车位, 商店里的人就更多了, 有点象中国年关时的样子了. 前几年到感恩节时也没有这个规模.

I asked myself exact same question tonight in front of a Chinese restaurant.
Tonight (Weekend) to a Chinese restaurant, before got a seat, in a long queue outside restaurant waited more than 30 minutes. It's really cold winter night outside. Both American and Chinese, mixed in the queue, most were families, waiting, chatting...

After seat down, order took another a while to deliver.

My family went out 5:30pm for dinner, came back 8:30pm. It took three hours.

Is this a sign that business and economy in recession? No, it's not.

听餐馆的人总结过，经济一般时候，生意最好。一般人大钱不花了，就花在吃上了。

当然，经济如果太糟糕，也会影响到餐馆生意。

目前经济状况是不景气。

不过，我们那个大院的一个家伙，居然吧他自己好好的一个房子给推倒重新建了一个房子。哥们说他要建一个他梦想中的dream house.

真的是整的很漂亮，两层楼的那种，不过还没完工。
