Do not take anyone's words for granted, if you have any experience, you should be careful not to do  immediate reverse bet after any sharp big change (either up or down). As  in real life, U turn can happen, but not that frequent.
If you follow MGB, his/her general comments about  the market in more useful.
If you don't understand what he/she said, just stay put.
