I guess that's all depends on how your government value your citizenship and your life.
I don't understand why so many fellow Chinese willingly don't expect reasonable service from government in such state of emergency. And so comfortably being treated as such.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Government should provide free service at no cost. The point is you shouldn't have to pay upfront to get on charter flight provided by your government. Actually, US and Canada both require their citizen to reimburse the flight cost AFTER being evacuated.
As matter of fact, there is country that provide free charter service such as Australia
