1. short stop at bar 4 for scalp; got lucky to be filled at low tick
2. buy stop at bar 8 for scalp
3. buy close at bar 11, for 1 and 2 points; got lucky again to fille at high tick.
4. short close at bar 27 for scalp
5. limit buy at bar 32 at 1218 for scalp
6. limit buy at bar 41 at 1219.75 for scalp
7. short at the close of bar 55, even out.
8. short stop at bar 57 for scalp
9. limit buy at bar60 at 1218 for scalp
10. I was thinking to limit buy at bar 71 at 1218, but I didn't.
11. limit buy at bar 74 at 1219 for scalp.
12. buy close at bar 76 should be OK, but it's close to end, so pass.

Range day is far better than trend day, a bunch of points. Most of them are high probability trades.
gonna love range day.

bar 71 is interesting.
it is exactly the same as bar 32: both of them are followed by strong bear bar, strong bull reversal bar w/o trigger the buy, test the low again, TICK is OK, in buy zone.

I should have bought on it, at least small size.

NT feed on bar 32 is wrong; it's doji, not bull bar.

A question. I saw so many limited buy, instead of stop buy, why? Maybe limit order is for range day?

stop order also should work. but market likes to do pullback in range days, also bars are more overlapping, so if you place stop order, you have to hold during pullbacks.
yes, I use limit order more often lately.

if you want to get in in strong uptrend, stop order only works in pullback.
what happens if there's no pullback? then the entry should be bad short entry, like the previous bar's low, etc.

another reason I didn't buy at bar71 is, I prepared to average down when I bought at bar 32.
The time of bar71 doesn't allow this.

look at the market from another angle.

bar 72 and bar 73 are 2 consecutive strong bull bars; bar 74 is bear reversal bar. below the low of bar 73 is the bad short entry, see what happened? of course, bull's stop is below the low of bar 72.

similar situation in bar 39 - 43.

But I have a question one the first trade. Bar2 is a strong bull bar, and market in bull mom, how do u dare to short for scalping with a big stop, the RRR is not good enough to take that one in my view.

if I didn't get filled at low tick today, I would close it after bar 4 to lose 2-3 ticks.
The theoretical stop is too far away.
