I don't think the original title has any misleading.

I think this logic applies perfectly to the Chinese situation, especially for the ones from the mainland China. As we all know and "learned" from our childhood,  TG is China and China is TG.   
If you grow up here, this survey probably makes no sense to you.

明显国家和党，国家和任何党都不能划等号！！！

别别，俺也就是个根儿正秒红而已，现实生活里，俺爹就已经是白板了。你那个问题其实反问就在逻辑上一点问题都没有了，是个subject大小的问题。这就象股版里争论熊市牛市的问题，没有定义时间范围，subject都不明确，如何辩论呢。

Your question is too general to bring up any meaningful discussion.  Patriosm is without any condition.  If you love a country only if ....., you are not a patriot.  If you intend to find whether there are any patriot who would absolutely support TG without any condition, you won't find that many.  So designing such survey is not that useful.  If you want to find out how many patriots would support today's TG, would support 60 years ago's TG, would support TG because there is no other appropriate candidate, would support TG because political turmoil may cost China's opportunities to advance, would support TG's wise policies but would at the meantime criticise TG's stupid decisions, would support TG if TG would start political reform in 5 years, in 10 years or in 20 years, would support TG so long as it keeps its market oriented reform policies going, would support TG but would only give it a 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 ......  you may be able to find more useful information.

Common, sister, can't we just keep it simple?
Just want to find out whether there are any hardcore TG supporters. So far, we have 4 people voted yes. The majority, 33 strong, are either disagree or don't care.
So, hat's off to those 4 people. Obviously, they didn't forgoet what TG have taught them.

Agree. I do support TG for now and I love my home country unconditionally for ever. But it deson't mean I will support TG unconditionally for ever.

What I see in China is the much better life for most people. TG did it. (It could be argued that a democracy goverment would do a better job, I doubt it. The fact is TG has done it).  Only when living itself is no longer the primary issue, people will start to think logically and decently. The created pressure will backfire to the government then. If TG can't make appropriate reform actions accordingly, it will be washed away for sure one way or the other. It just takes time, be patient! China is such a fast-changing dynamic entity, nobody could see it through. I wish the best.
