Survivors shelter in a tent in Hatay, Turkey, the day after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the country's south east. Thousands of people in Turkey and Syria have been left homeless, and now have to face freezing weather, potential aftershocks and collapsing buildings. More than 23,000 people are known to have died.
