Sudanese protesters roll barricades into place as they demonstrate against a military coup that thwarted the transition to civilian rule in the Al-Shajara district of southern Khartoum. Coup leader Gen Abdel Fattah Burhan dissolved civilian rule on Monday, arresting political leaders, and called a state of emergency. Soldiers opened fire on crowds and reportedly killed 10 people.
