An Iraqi man inspects the remains of members of the Yazidi minority killed by ISIS jihadist group after Kurdish forces discovered a mass grave near the village of Sinuni, in the northwestern Sinjar area. The grave, containing the remains of about 25 people, was found during a search for explosives that ISIS often leaves behind, posing a threat to security forces and civilians even after they withdraw.

According to reports, 1215 rhinos were poached in South Africa in 2014, of which 827 were in the Kruger National Park.
