Forex/Futures ST for Week 01/06- 01/11

Sorry for the late start of the New Year. I usually don't want to mess up my vacation with trading after Christmas ... Besides, the bulk of our investment is earning good income/return in a well-managed fund so I'm fine with not trading every day.

I keep telling myself sitting tight on my hands. But this is the first time I was able to keep my hands off from the market completely during the vacation time, and finally appreciate the statement "there are always chances in the market".

Nevertheless, congratulations to the bulls who were betting a pop during the holidays!

The biggest drama besides the stocks indices can be found in GC. Finally there is a chance for a bottom: it's printing a higher low ... at least let's hope so. Anyway, the first breakout target is given in the chart. Of course, if it can't breakout, it's not a tradable bottom.

CL is doing great ... the next target (long) is shown in the chart ...

Bond has been sold hard, and I don't think it's over yet ... be patient ... got to see weaker momentum first.



ZB has clearly entered a down channel in the longer-term (daily chart).

EURO finished its top breakdown 100% and it's rebounding from a double well, target 1.318 ...

AUD is working on a breakout ... let's see, the mm target for the second leg is a revisit of the previous high in early Dec, but needs to clear the 1.052 level first.

So far stock bulls are safe, TF made new high and is consolidating above the previous all-time(?) high ... can't beat that ...

Apparently the earning news will swing the stocks in the coming weeks ...
