additionally, bigger picture, Fed says economy is still sluggish, and inflation is not a big concern right now, this might be another reason some people don't want to own gold.

He said the unemployment rate cannot go down more if the rest of the economy is only lukewarm ... so maybe we do need QE3 ... but the market always read the most apparent and bad line first.
