open IB account from Germany

xiaobailong, when you opened an account with IB in Germany, do you have to put min. 10K dollar in order to trade option? did you download the formular from online and go to Postamt to indentify your passport?

i think, u should download the formular and fill in . than send it away and get a account number and transfer the money inside!

你当然可以打印下来然后通过post寄给他们，但是另外一种方式是所有的一切都是在网上完成的。表格就是在网上填的，填好后他们就给你一个IB帐号。然后问你要证件，首先证明你的身份，其次证明你不在美国，也不是美国公民更没有美国绿卡。这样你就不用交美国的税了，填表格的时候会有一个免除美国纳税义务的表格。

所有这些证件都可以用扫描件发给他们。

然后就是转帐，他们会给你一个IB在citibank的帐号，你至少要转1万美元进去才能开户。

反正我所有的手续都是通过网上走的，包括国际转帐，只是被银行收了一些转帐手续费。可是跟汇率和股市输赢比起来，这点手续费真的不算什么了。

我看到网上有人说，炒股之后最大的变化就是不把钱当钱了，花钱开始大手大脚起来。我现在很有同感啊。
