Today is a good day! $USD opened lower then dropped to new low plus good RETAIL SALES NUMBER gave market a big boost. All major indices made new high except $rut (Russell 2000). Russell 2000, Dow Jones Transportation ($tran) and Industrials (XLI) outperformed S&P 500 today that confirmed this rally is very serious.  Market breadth is pretty healthy. NYSE Advancers/Decliners = 4.31, NYSE Up Volume/Down Volume =  7.37 (Small cap outperformed large cap). The Most positive sign was S&P 500 did break the long-term down trendline.  Stochastic shows sign of overbought, RSI shows market can still go higher. VOLUME! Volume has been dropping since this November rally started, We did have better volume today but still light. Rally in low volume is bearish. We need to see more volume. I do not want to fall into a BULL TRAP!  $VIX is cheap, my suggestion is buy some December call to hedge. $USD is still in a strong support area, it needs fall below $74.50. $spx's 50% retracement is at 1121. I would be lighting up while $spx approaching to it.







Last Friday, I said Solar stock might be bottomed. Today, we got more good news, SOL reported a so-so Q3 earning but provided a better outlook, stock went higher by 4.7%. Solar stocks are underperformed comparing to Oil price. I believe solar will play catch-up. I prefer Chinese large cap Solar stocks than US solar stock because a big portion of Chinese government's stimulus plan funding went to alternative energy including solar.
