让我们来听听财长的故事:
By: Whitney Tyner, Zillow PR Coordinator | June 3, 2009
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner claims to see signs of economic improvement for the nation, but the same does not appear to be true for his personal pocket book.
The Obama official has been feeling the reality of the housing crisis since listing his 32 Maple Hill Dr, Larchmont, NY home for sale back in February for $1,635 million — approximately $33,000 more than what he bought it for in 2004.
Despite a price reduction to $1.575 million, the home sat untouched for months.
Today, the Associated Press announced that the house has been taken off the market and is being rented to an unidentified family for $7,500 a month.
My hypothesis: Geithner is sure to be one landlord who expects rent to be paid on time!
