我觉得未来的一年应该很动荡。长期持币吧通胀这么高损失也不小。我想用下面的办法给可以一年闲置现金找个出路，可能抵消不了通胀。当然前提是我对这些现金的回报期望本来就是5%左右。
找短期不可能破产的优质公司，买他们的一年左右到期的优先股。在这一年里面收取红利。Reset Date到了的时候如果公司赎回，那么就把现金拿回来。如果公司renew，新term的rate应该比现在的高不少。
比如 ENB.PF.K:TSX。这个是enbridge 2017年底发行的5年期优先股。现在的 Dividend Yield 是 5.0%。https://canadianpreferredshares. ... d-shares-series-19/ 有它的详细信息。下面是Excerpt: Reset Date and Yield Terms
For every five-year period after the Initial Fixed Rate Period (each a “Subsequent Fixed Rate Period”, as defined herein), the holders of Series 19 Shares shall be entitled to receive, as and when declared by the Board, fixed, cumulative, preferential cash dividends, payable quarterly on the first day of March, June, September and December in each year, in the amount per share equal to the Annual Fixed Dividend Rate (as defined herein) for such Subsequent Fixed Rate Period.
The Annual Fixed Dividend Rate for the ensuing Subsequent Fixed Rate Period will be determined by the Corporation on the Fixed Rate Calculation Date (as defined herein) and will be equal to the sum of the Government of Canada Yield (as defined herein) on the Fixed Rate Calculation Date plus a spread of 3.17%, provided that, in any event, such rate shall not be less than 4.90%.
This spread will remain unchanged over the life of the Series 19 Shares. See “Details of the Offering”. The Series 19 Shares shall not be redeemable prior to March 1, 2023. On March 1, 2023, and on March 1 in every fifth year thereafter, the Corporation may, at its option, upon not less than 30 days and not more than 60 days prior written notice, redeem for cash all or any part of the outstanding Series 19 Shares by the payment of $25.00 per Series 19 Share plus all accrued and unpaid dividends (less any tax required to be deducted and withheld by the Corporation).
