If the market shows signs of weakness, I would consider buying some SDS/QID for hedging; shorting individual stock is too risky sometimes so I would be cautious (I usually day-trade to reduce overnight risks). Nonetheless, shorting/hedging is considered extra bonus now - I would usually take swift 3-5% profit during market corrections/downward swing.

RIM is the only push mail vendor so far can provide SLA for business users . simply because Apple does not have network infrastructure to support it.
without the network infrastructure , for a long run , AAPL will have to stay away with 'prosumers'

that is reason , most time when you see AAPL is up , rimm will follow. they are not *real* competitors

RIM collects $$ by :
selling  handheld
selling  BES server including licenses.
selling  services monthly

more importantly , most wireless operators are welling to sell BB as RIM will share profit in term of the monthly subscription.

哈哈你可以说rim的管理很乱但是你不能否认的是科技板块的最大动力是技术跟创新如果你在rim工作过你不会不知道rim之所以能在短短的几年发展到今天很大程度是因为他的人杰地灵加拿大最好的cs engineering人才源源不断地输入rim当中
