27% per month is good or bad?

it is time weighted return...to be precise it is 27.49% for March...Do all the hedge funds use time weighted return as well to do their reporting?

last year my trading account time weighted return is 27,693.79%, but I only made around $7000 in absolute numbers...not sure if I should trust the time weighted return number or not. of course, I only use a very small amount of capital during most trading days..a couple of thousands, sometimes just $1000, every time i made money, i withdraw half or 50% of profit out to my banking account..this year, I did not add new capital in to play safe..only a few thousands to act like a hen to lay eggs..

I did not start to trade in my IB account until around September or Oct. 2008 I forgot exactly..so the 27,693.79% is anualized return from Set.or Oct. 2008-Dec. 31st, 2009...I did not trade much in Dec. 2008.

it depends on how much u have in ur account
manage 2k and 2m are totally different story.

that's what I would think...still don't have guts to put a lot of money to my trading account. Worry one bad trade will lose them all.

$25.276 x276.9379（倍）=$7000
276.9379/(52[周]x5[天])= 1.065
