You only need to see the life-time chart of these 3x ETF's.  If you use light positions and want to short, you should short the 3x long.  The decay is going to wipe out the most of the position if you hold them too long.

The problem is, they normally are hard to borrow to short.  I guess that is because many want to do so.  

What a painful lesson!

By the way, how long have you been trading stocks?

Now even if SPX drops back to 660, SKF may not see 200 now.

还有那位lin， 我今天真得很生气，码了这么多字，苦口婆心再三叮嘱不可以重仓，特别是满仓，再三叮咛不可以average down/up, 怎么重要的部分都不听，只关心买了怎么，怎么价钱买的？？ ...

死捂不可取，仓位太重可以先割一半，周末再好好研究一下怎么处理剩下的一半。前几天我也在做空，这次反弹强度大大超过我的预料，我的short 损失惨重，已经趁今早的pullback 割肉逃生。留得青山在，不怕没柴烧，只要本金还在，今后就有得玩。割肉不可怕，怕的是在死捂中把账户搞残了，那时想翻身也难了。

short faz or fas is a very good idea, but problem is they are hard to borrow.
