The pain will pass. The market will come back down. But it's true that these triple ETFs are not meant to be held over time. The nature of these funds means they are almost destined to drop in value over a long period of time. Look at the history of SKF vs XLF and you will see that SKF's recent high is much lower than November's while XLF's recent low is much lower than November's.

So I suggest you to get out of these leveraged funds when opportunity comes and switch to shorting XLF directly. It has much higher odds of making money or breaking even. If you have a lot of cash, short UYG. But you have to make sure you have enough cash buffer and won't get margin calls.

Holding shorts are not easy even in a bear market, because you always suspect the market would run up and keep u underwater forever, especially when you short at SP 6XX. However, the market won't go up straightly, you should have opportunity to get ur money back. BTW, I lost 90% on my stupid UYG holding. I did not cut because it is worthless to cut now, and I am preparing to loss all for the worest.

还有那位lin， 我今天真得很生气，码了这么多字，苦口婆心再三叮嘱不可以重仓，特别是满仓，再三叮咛不可以average down/up, 怎么重要的部分都不听，只关心买了怎么，怎么价钱买的？？？气死我了！！！

今天我做一次恶人，你们睡不着觉？最好。。。。 最好你们几天也睡不好觉，知道痛了，就会收敛。。。还有那个xxtrader，你得意的时候，几万几万股的买，买的时候怎么没想到要死的心？你要跳楼，去跳吧，别以为到了地域，你就不用还钱了，你得继续还。。。 真是的，与其到地域里去还，还不如这辈子还完了呢。。。

这条不平凡的路，每个人都走过，如果经历这次，你还没学到，我只能说，你不是炒股的料，想靠炒股发财？ 省省吧。。。

我比你背，已经连续在FAS和FAZ上反了两个月了。千万别上margin。想好在什么价位先出一部分来减轻压力，把单子打进去，免得到了又舍不得卖。最好让自己能睡踏实。

xxtrader, your entry is too high and position size is too large , but I figure you already know that. Please pay real good attention to 天真的冷酷's reply to you.  Market wise, after consolidating (going down to 720?), market is likely to go higher, many HH predict 780? by OE, before diving again to below 666, now the question is can you hold your large position through this up and down motion. Your shorts will likely to be worse off than now if the market  goes up to 780, so this won't be an easy task.  

Also remember ultra etf have time decay, they lose value over the long run. Just look at fxp to see an example of how bad things are.

俺水深10000米，FAZ @ 101块 skf @ 247块，笨笨熊你还没我套的一半深，我还扛着呢，昨天还加了空仓，继续抗。。。。3天损失几十万。。
我跟我GF说，如果今天大盘还不跳，直接到我们家底楼找我BODY（P.S.我住顶楼PEN ...
