Presidential election cycle impact on stock market

Usually the second Year in the election cycle has major correction,  so that closer to the election the stock market should perform well and does not impact the rating of the presidential right before election.  This year is the year that has high probability for a major correction.

My question to all is whether you think the “major correction” is to be coming or has already occurred.  I think the early year drop is pretty strong but not very deep.  However the recovery was long and maybe this can be counted as a major correction.  However if it were a 15% correction I would be more assured.  Now i am not sure whether there is another correction in fall.  What do you think?

I am starting to feel that maybe there will not be a major correction in fall this year.
Of course I am often a "fan Zhi".  
Depending on how much and how fast the market can rise above the previous top.
