normally, I will say that gap and crap scenario is well possible.

But this time, we are right below 870 ES keyline, gapping up (we are almost sure to open above 870 if we gap up next Monday, as ES closed 2 pts away from 870) actually should be considered as a huge positive.

i m afraid that a gap up on monday. that is the sign of sell off. if gap down, it will be good

I was wondering why VIX did not drop much last 2 days when SPY up 6% from Thursday's low. Does it mean gap down open is in high possibility?

I watched Fast Money tonight and Pete mentioned this in the show.  His explanation is those buyers bought puts to protected their buys so that they will not sell.  I guess that the show might be replayed at mid-night on CNBC.
