The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended Thursday’s session at 83.41, the highest level in over 20 years. Since 1930, the blue chip benchmark has only seen 14 other rallies that have resulted in an RSI over 83, following which the benchmark retraced the gains to the tune of 1.73%, on average, at the end of the following four week period; 11 of the 14 events were negative.
