Why DBO has such low volume (compare with USO)?

DBO's tax reporting should be much simpler than USO, but DBO's trading volume is so low which makes me uncomfortable.
Anybody knows why? Which one do you recommend between USO and DBO for mid to long term holding?Thanks.
