Trump 向左转，Hillary 不让他转

周四 Hillary 在内华达州的 Reno 做了一个针对 Trump 的演讲，把 Trump 和「alt-right」给挂了起来。

对于大部分人来说，「Alternative Right」是个陌生的词汇。的确，这个词是 2010 年才由 National Policy Institute（NPI） 的 Richard Spencer 创造出来的。NPI 是个 White nationalism 智库。White nationalism 其中就包括了白人至上主义者和白人分离主义者。所以不难想见，这个 Alternative Right 是 Spencer 为了避免每次说起 White nationalism 所引发的负面情绪，而发明出来的一个看上去中性的新词。

当然不管是左派还是右派都不买账，将其定义为种族主义的变种。

Hillary 把 Trump 和「alt-right」挂钩，当然不是随便编的。我们在通讯中就数次提过 Trump 和白人至上主义者的扯不清的关系。这在最近 Trump 邀请了 Breitbart 主席 Steve Bannon 成为团队 CEO 后更加洗不清，因为 Breitbart 就是支持 alt-right 的。

Alt-right 在 Breitbart 眼中是什么样的呢？可以取 Breitbart 的当家明星 Allum Bokhari 和 Milo Yiannopoulos 为 alt-right 洗白的一篇文章《An Establishment Conservative’s Guide To The Alt-Right》看看。在这篇文章里，作者用了「natural conservatives」来形容 alt-right 群体：大部分是白人，大部分是男性激进者，追求一种以自己族裔的利益为先的新身份/认同政治：

They are mostly white, mostly male middle-American radicals, who are unapologetically embracing a new identity politics that prioritises the interests of their own demographic.

Alt-right 下也有许多分支，比如和女性主义者针锋相对的要恢复被商业文化蚕食的雄性力量的 manosphere，以及强调种族并非社会建构，所以要区别对待的「human biodiversity」运动等等。Breitbrt 也「很高兴地承认」，Alt-right 里有很多种族主义者。

至于说 alt-right 到底是如左右派所认为的种族主义者，还是如他们自己所说的只是在为维系白人文化而战，其实并不是本文的重点。所以回来说 Hillary 为什么要把 Trump 和 alt-right 拉在一起。

Hillary 其实是在重复在党代会上 Obama 的演讲，告诉共和党人，Trump 并不能代表共和党，他代表的是极右翼。为此 Hillary 把过去的几位共和党总统候选人大加赞扬:

Twenty years ago, when Bob Dole accepted the Republican nomination, he pointed to the exits and told any racists in the Party to get out.

The week after 9/11, George W. Bush went to a mosque and declared for everyone to hear that Muslims “love America just as much as I do.”

In 2008, John McCain told his own supporters they were wrong about the man he was trying to defeat. Senator McCain made sure they knew – Barack Obama is an American citizen and “a decent person.”

We need that kind of leadership again.

具体来说，Hillary 干的就是，把战场给推回去，直接挑衅 Trump。

Trump 最近做了两件事。一个是按稿子讲话了，一个是在向左转了。Trump 表示他现在很喜欢提词器，「on message」更有利于他赢得选民:

According to the Times, Conway requested that he transition to using prepared remarks to prevent him from wandering off script at what had been freewheeling campaign rallies.

翻译给 Hillary 就是 Trump 的非受迫性失误少了。所以需要给 Trump 点压力，因为 Trump 肯定会反击，就容易出错。Hillary 不仅在开动火力全面攻击，同时也是在向盟友示意，大家要向哪个方向发力。

发力的方向，应该是针对 Trump 的向左转。他的新移民政策听上去跟 Jeb Bush 差不多，他甚至称赞了 Obama 的移民遣返记录。

对于后者，Trump 在试探媒体与选民，看他们对「Trump 也可以是个灵活务实关心少数族裔的温和派」有何看法。Hillary 的讲话，则是要强行把问题变成「Trump 就是个不可变通的极右分子」。看上去是问题的两面，但战场变了。如果是前者，就是在 Hillary 的战场上，Hillary 要防御，来证明自己更关心少数族裔，能比 Trump 做得更好，来保住自己收割的共和党支持者，而后者则是在 Trump 的战场，Trump 如果还想要攻回来，先要和种族主义者划分界线。

所以 Hillary 抛出的是 Trump 的「种种劣迹」，逼着 Trump 来解释：他对西裔法官的攻击、穆斯林的攻击、反犹的言论、KKK 对他的支持、在 Trump 地产上对有色人种的歧视等等。

这样一来，Trump 一方好像必须回头自救。Breitbart 的新文里已经赶快说白人种族主义者非常憎恨我们关于 alt-right 的文章，我们是支持以色列的。

而 alt-right 的网站 alternativeright.com 则发文说 Trump 之流「和 alt-right 并不完全一样」（not exactly the Alt Right），Hillary 和他的盟友，尤其是所谓的「保守派」在抺黑和平的「欧裔美国人」：

Hillary and her allies in “conservative” media will stop at nothing to portray peaceful European-American advocacy as a dark specter haunting America. In reality, she and her allies, especially so-called “conservatives,” are only giving comfort to the most radical and violent elements in our society.

但如果是这样，就正中 Hillary 的下怀，因为这战场就被转入到了 Trump 自己盟友内斗中。

如果 Trump 真的想把战火烧到 Hillary 那里，方法也很简单：拿出具体政策来。但是如果 Trump 真的走到这一步，就得极小心地设计政策，才能不惹恼了自己的核心选民。Hillary 团队显然有信心，认为 Trump 那边没有政策高人能让他安然走过这独木桥。
