Monday Gap

As of 16:00 pm, 6/24/2016, the market prefer a gap up on Monday. Meanwhile, the gold miners favor a gap down at open on Monday.


Note:
SPY gap ( % Chng within +/- 0.10% [-0.10%, +0.10%]) would be treated as no gap;
The gap of NUGT/DUST, UWIT/DWTI or UGAZ/DGAZ ( % Chng within +/- 0.30% [-0.30%, +0.30%] ) would be counted as unchanged.

Hmmm...I see gap down though.  Today's intraday movement should discourage any longs.  On Friday, there should be a huge comeback, but instead, it still steadily moves downward till the close.  Seems no shorts are in hurry to cover.  There is more drop to come on Monday, with hedge funds liquidation and move to bonds.

SPY:  Monday Gap (%)= (Monday Open - Friday Close)/ Friday Close  * 100%
Gap up means: Monday Open > Friday Close * 1.001
