请教一个基本问题

美林和 TDAmeritrade， 这两个brokerage, 哪个好？如果分成2 个股票投资帐户， 年底报税会不会很麻烦？谢谢指教！

I use TDAmeritrade/TOS. seems pretty good. But I mainly use it to trade ES.
TDAmeritrade offers powerful tools for TA. and you can coding or programming them yourself if you want.

Not sure what your concerns exactly.
Since last year, per IRS request, all brokers will/have to report all of your taxes information to IRS. it's computer-created automatically. Not much you can do or revise unless you notice your broker after your trade.

In another words, taxes in your trade accounts seldom could be adjusted since last year, if not completely impossible.
In my case, I reviewed the copy from my broker (it also sent a copy to IRS directly) and signed it off when I filed my tax return last year.
In past, I twisted it a a lot. but the game seems over.

Thank you very much!!! My concern is more about the consolidation if I use 2 brokers for general investment. (one for speculation, the other for investment).
