In 9.7 inch screen, I don't think your eyes can see the difference between the iPad 2 and the new iPad.

With same battery life and other similar features, I still feel disappointed about the new iPad. If you have an iPhone 4S you can use the iPad 2 with the iPhone's WiFi hotspot.
