来close这个thread, I didn't get the house. the seller got 8 offers in 5 days, and 5 of them are at least 50K ~100K more than the oringinal offer. and 2 out of 8 are cash offer with inspection waved, which are significantly higher than mine. ( mine is 100K more than oringial offer already ). .

the agent was guessing, the two offers are either from chinese people or british columnbia Canadian.

前一周，我们街上出来两套房子，第一周Open House。
第二周就Sale Pending。

抢不到的永远觉得好，抢到了又怕买错了，买贵了。

下一个再抢过。。。毕竟是人生的大投资。

yeah, the same to the two houses I rencently saw in the market. the first one was closed on Saturday morning/friday night 3 days after it's on the market,  and they didn't even do the open house.

Well when I went to the open house on Saturday afternoon, the house wasn't opened. then I found the house was pending!!!

No luck so far.

先在网上找，看着有意思的，叫Agent去联系看房。不要等到Open House。

South bay area with fair - good school districts is hoooooot! Multi-offer plus cash offer...

check redfin.com. This is very useful web for house searching or history price check. We use this for our house purchase.

我在硅谷，20天前搞定一个房子，23个offer. 我的感觉硅谷好区的房源很少，比去年前年少了好多好多。 不知道房子是否反弹？

Higher by 50-100k than asking price, the price for this house must be a multi-million dollar home. Which area is that? Just curious...
