i don't think so, it only means  ur video card is compatible with those type of port.

currently I use HDMI and DVI to connect 2 monitors w/o problems. I wanna be greedy to go for 3.
I think it should work, not sure though.

read the spec of the card, i believe two are more common. i use a external USB adapter to connect my third monitor. worked out OK, but sometimes it freezes for 5-10 seconds. so don't use that one for important task like placing order. for browsing internet like Hutong9 is ok.

yes, you can use a USB to VGA adapter to connect your PC or laptop through their USB port to a VGA monitor. I didn't use the wireless one so I am not sure how reliable it will be.
