I am not saying good or bad news, but the market seems mute to this announcement, although a 'Discount Rate' increase is not a real deal, but the message by FED from it should be digested somehow, but the past 12 hours is not enough.

FED's decision usually takes effect in long term. the interest hike is supposed to curb inflation and stock market is cooled off. but yet the market does not need to react immediately. like most of the FA factors, it is pretty long term.

the most fishy thing about this rally is i do not see a strong resistance from bear. no selling pressure at all. even S&P stand firmly above 1106 i have yet to see the bears crawling to cover their shorts. so where are the bears? if there is no bears at all, what takes the market so long to return to 1106?
