SP retreated to 1005 now, however the momentum will push it higher again today.
My hunch is that SPX 1011 would be a firm line to hold on for bears.

I think we are breaking into 1020-1030 at least early next week with significant chances to make new high. The bulls were too skittish over the last few weeks. Maybe another push to new high will finally convince them that we are in a new bull market (in order for them to get trapped). Now they escape whenever there is a drop.

That is what I thought even though we may not see new high. When SPY cross 102.6, I will begin to load short again.
