Thanks for sharing. Did you actually use stockcharts for real time data analysis? If not, what do you use? Thanks.

皮老大，optionsxpress里面有三个作图工具：

 

* express charts：缺省的，功能最弱，不要用这个。

 

* flex charts: optionsxpress自己开发的java作图工具，以前很烂，现在还可以，你试试一定喜欢。目前唯一缺点是intraday数据不是60天的。好处是可以直接在图上分析，在图上买卖，仓位会在图上有一条横线，一看就知道自己在水上还是水下。stockcharts上面的东西都可以拌上去；

 

* prophet javacharts: optionsxpress叫做java streaming charts，这个我的最爱，虽然程序烂，是2004年的，好处是可以做indicator of indicator，非常灵活，缺点是futures有延时（不是一般的15分钟，我说不清楚是多长），是按照stock trading hours来的，没有AH和premarket，所以盘后无法看futures。

 

老大可以试试flex charts。

Finally, we all knew that the breakout the triangle upline was fake. Lesson1, we should wait for the chance to short spy after 2:0PM. patient and the gut to catch the oppertunity is the key for short term trading. still on learning. thank you, QQQ Lao da.

Thanks Yager, I am still not very familar to OPX charts, Flex chart didn't give me 1 min and 5 min intra day charts that I can put up my trading systems on it. also I have to keep click to get it flash. while use stockcharts.com, I open up 9 charts on 3 different Intel powerful computers and each chart re-flash every 15 seconds, that is pretty cool.

Hi, Bencat, see 1 min chart above. It could be real if (1) no macd divergence (2) good vol and good follow up vol (3) do not break down more than 880. You can check it intra day update, I post (1) and (3) right on time and sent alert.

I do use slow sto, it just didn't show up in pasted area of charts:

 

1min charts Slow STO (55, 5)

5 min charts Slow STO (55, 3)

15 min charts Slow STO (60, 5)

30 min charts Slow STO (14, 3)

60 min charts Slow STO (14, 3)

Daily and weekly same (14, 3)
