Sometime, Bear ETF is a better choice, than short (margin call), or puts (time value), if you are bearish.

Announcement:

I surrendered today because I just realized that the indices are currently making a diamond top, so all my Oct puts have been killed.

Today is likely to close in green (as I saw huge money inflow yesterday. Bulls are buying every dip crazily since they were afraid of missing the bull train here), and tomorrow is likely to close in red (because TSX ND today).

And this is also to continue the one day up and one day down pattern.

This diamond top is likely to be broken out upside next week. And then maybe drop back? Who knows. Perhaps a new bull market starts from here.

I have been a bull for quite some time. I just bet a retrace but the market gave me a hard lesson. I shouldn't have bought puts. Waiting to buy dip should be a better idea when I expected a retracement under a overbought condition.

Possibly "nuked" puts are vulnerable.

I hold FAZ with hedge (weekly covered calls, due Friday, rolling over)
