Hehe. I am always a warrior to trade against the trend. But lessons learned are that you need to have pre-specified stops if you really want to trade against the trend.

that is why the current stock market still has leg. We are at the mature phase of a typical recovery cycle based on other indicators (inventory, etc.), not the beginning.  it may be pushed longer, but a contraction phase is not far away. when you see unemployment rate down to 7% or lower, it is a signal to sell, not buy. That would be the ultimate excuse WS use to unload. watchout!
