Yes, I feel the strength of upside of SPY increases slowly.  the major drag issue today is XLF!

You did OK, you are quick learner, don't blame yourself, you should be glad, enjoy the mkt. keep head up and smile.

thanks, QQQ laoda. i escaped a little late and lost a bit. i didn't go short immediately because i was exhausted and the loss hurt my confidence. it was a mistake cuz i could have recouped my loss by going short right away. guess only a person with a super strong heart can succeed in the currrent crazy market. i am tired of trading. maybe i should take a break and focus on something else. i keep losing money these days. i don't know why it's so hard to say goodbye to market. i was a lot happier when i knew nothing about stock market. sorry for my emotions. hope everyone here happy and rich.

Sorry I didn't get 1 min chart during the day, these days indeed very difficult to trade, even for experiensed traders.

this is the good time to learn how to train your eyes to find even tiny evidence on mkt internal changes that might against you. take rest is not a bad idea, maybe even paper trade. maybe mkt just need heartless people?

QQQ: thank you for the annotated charts. One question: Do you use the realtime charts from stockcharts.com for day trading? I'm thinking about getting one, but have some concern since it's not streamed. I use TDWaterhouse's command center, but it doesn't have as nearly many features as the stockcharts providing. TIA

my charts are all from stockcharts.com, I set automatic reflash every 15 seconds. I also use OptionXpress Xpress charts for trade ES real time. but OPX charts need hand re-flash

QQQ, you're one of the nicest people on this board. we frogs are lucky to have you teach us. you did your best. i can feel your compassion cuz you don't want to see you fellow Chinese brothers and sisters lose their hard-earned money to WS. i have high respects for you. overall, trading is more about discipline and mental strength. you can teach frogs skills and how to read chart.  but one has to develop those mental strengths on his/her own. yet your work is so very important to us. so please continue to teach and advise. i'll keep following your posts. thank you so much!

Yes, Yes, and Yes, just right around this blue line, I was debating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Should I take profit or should I stay. I was waiting to see the thrust upward. But you know, I don't know how to use the indicators, macd and sto effectively so I hold onto it. Noticed you used fast sto, why not slow sto. Is it because of the short timeframe? I was clicking on the yahoo charts madly every 3 seconds. You are greate teacher! thank you.

Glad to hear, you are a quick learner, but remember the big difference between paper trade and real trade is: EMOTION, FEAR, and GREEDY. Keep practicing and enjoy both sucess and mistakes.
